Only to find that God drew them close and nourished them so that they could come to know God more fully, and know themselves more fully. Only to find that God had prepared a place for them. Into a place vast in desolation, uncertainty, unfamiliarity. So many righteous men and women in the scriptures have fled into the wilderness. I've been thinking about this concept of fleeing into the wilderness. "And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared of God"
